  12.     What are the differences between a CD player and a CD-ROM
  13. device?  Putting the SCSI interface and controller mechanisms
  14. aside, is the reading done in a similar fashion?
  15. BIG DUMB QUESTION:  How much work would be involved in trying to
  16. "convert" a CD player to a CD-ROM?  Probably very difficult if not
  17. next to impossible.
