  33. Model railroading covers modelling trains.  There are plenty of us that go
  34. out and photograph the prototype (full scale) trains and then spend time
  35. building rolling-stock and locomotives.  Many of these also end up as
  36. static displays, though personally I like to seem them move.

  38. While this group seems to cover modelling in general, which would
  39. certainly include modelling railroads, trains, etc..., rec.models.railroad
  40. specifically covers those topics, making it more appropriate.  You
  41. could also post to the newsgroup "general", but you are less likely
  42. to find an audience that is geared to the builder of model trains.  I
  43. don't think that you would be unwelcome posting to rec.models.scale,
  44. but you would certainly be welcome to participate in rec.models.railroad.
