  27. I just got started into this too.  Man, do I need advice!  Anyways, I found
  28. one good place to shop.  It's called Model Expo (800-222-3876) and they cater 
  29. to ship builders.  Another one is the Dromedary.  I called them up once and
  30. have never ordered from them.  Call 'em at (915)584-2445.

  32. I've only built one wooden ship.  Actually, this doesn't count.  It was from
  33. Sterling and it was R/C.  Mind you, she was made entirely of balsa and mahog-
  34. aney, but she was no HMS Victory!

  36. I know nothing about rigging, or the woods used.  I don't even know what
  37. "proper" tools to use.  I think they have many books and videos to show you
  38. how.  The only book I have is Smeed's boat modeling book hardly a help to the
  39. scale wooden boat modeler.

  41. I just ordered Dynamite (yes, that's his name!) Payson's book on ship modeling.
  42. I hope that'll teach me a thing or two!
