- I have a set of 15" ARE Stingray model alloy wheels on
- my GLI. The wheels are unidirectional, and are stamped
- LEFT and RIGHT. The tires, however, are normal, ie there
- is no distinction between left and right.
-
- Now, for cosmetic reasons, I would like to swap the wheels
- to the opposite sides. The directional pattern looks better
- IMHO going opposite of what ARE says is correct. I'm wondering
- if there is any reason related to the design of the wheels why
- I shouldn't be able to do this. I mean, I know they will fit,
- I'm just concerned that the wheels were designed to function
- structurally in primarily one direction.
-
- Anyone have any brilliant insights?
-
- Thanks,
-
