- 1. Add a leaf: Not much lift is available with this and it stiffens the ride.

- 2. Longer shackles: Retains stock ride, and inexpensive. May change
- driveline angles somewhat.

- 3. Body lifts: Probably the cheapest, not always easy to install, does not
- raise the frame. Good if all you want is clearance for
- larger tires.

- 4. Stiffer shocks: Does not affect ride height, only damps motion quicker.
- Soft shocks give a smoother ride if adequate travel exists.

- 5. Springs: Best type of lift but expensive.

- 6. Blocks: Very inexpensive but won't work with the springs under the axles
- like on the Jeep. Causes more spring wrap-up under acceleration.
