- The cooling system I'm contemplating using Prestone's "Super Flush" on doesn't
- have rust and has been backflushed using the $5 backflushing kit that Prestone
- makes. This backflushing removed a tremendous amount of corrosion byproducts
- (look like small flakes of tarnished metal), but hasn't appreciably cleaned the
- radiator. The radiator has corrosion deposits in it (they're visible with the
- radiator's cap removed). The basic question is: will something like "Super
- Flush" remove these deposits?
-
- If anybody out there has experience with this chemical (or any other radiator
- flushing/cleaning chemical), I'd appreciate reading your opinions.
