- Seems to me that I do a combination.
- I think about what I'm going to write and the style, mood and point
- of the next piece I am putting down.

- I will sometimes rehearse little bits in my head for the start of the
- next section and then when I have got the intro right I start the writing
- bit.

- I use either a word processor, or dictaphone. Longhand is only for notes
- or individual words.
- I then get it down as fast as I can, forget the typos and other mistakes
- and then come back through it next day and sort and edit and correct.
