  11. Seems to me that I do a combination.
  12. I think about what I'm going to write and the style, mood and point 
  13. of the next piece I am putting down.

  15. I will sometimes rehearse little bits in my head for the start of the 
  16. next section and then when I have got the intro right I start the writing 
  17. bit.

  19. I use either a word processor, or dictaphone. Longhand is only for notes 
  20. or individual words.
  21. I then get it down as fast as I can, forget the typos and other mistakes 
  22. and then come back through it next day and sort and edit and correct.
