  12. My favorite, which is obscure enough that it's unlikely to be in the FAQ
  13. for this group (there IS one, isn't there?) is Sheridan Baker's book
  14. "The Practical Stylist."  Not only is it a fine guide to constructing
  15. sentences, paragraphs, etc., but it has also been around long enough
  16. that you can often find it at a very low price in used bookstores.
