- Sir, I would recommend the AT&T 5500, it has all the features
- that you are NOT looking for. It has 10 channels. The price on sale
- at Caldor's runs around 140 to $150. If you don't want the features the
- 5500 has go for a lesser model. I can only recommend the 5500 as that
- is what I have. The 5500 has a very clear voice, even the speaker
- phone is great on voice clarity (actually the best that I have seen on
- speaker). One thing I did want is paging -- because if I (or my child)
- ever put's the Handset somewhere -- I can page it and hear where the
- handset is.
- I believe AT&T has models which have the same "internals" but
- lesser features, so the price will be a lot less.
