- Recently, a friend of mine had to go to a clinic for Immigration
- related health checkup. It was in San Francisco. He told that any of the
- approved clinics (there is a list of approved clinics for Immigration
- related health checkup) would not accept Health Insurance or checks. One
- has to pay cash only. His insurance would have paid most of the money, if
- the clinic had accepted that. I was a little bit suspicious about this.
-
- Can any clinic say that they will accept only cash? Does this kind
- of cash payment go accounted (for tax purposes)? Can this clinic say that
- they don't accept checks even if you show proper id like CA driver licence?
-
- Can some knowledgeable netters give info on this?
