- Hi-
- I successfully installed gcc-2.2.2 on a SUN about a month ago, and am
- trying to do the same thing on an SGI IRIS Indigo Elan running the realtively
- new R4000 (MIPS) CPU. At the start I said "configure --target=mips-sgi".
- It gets through stage 1 OK, but when I try to make the stage 2 compiler,
- it chokes with a "gcc internal error." I guess this is the first point at
- which it attempt to make objective-C and C++, so this may be the stumbling
- block.
- Is my "configure" statement incorrect? Is ther R4000 chip not supported?
- Have I missed some other subtlety? Thanks in advance.
