- Hello,
-
- I was told that this list was the correct place to post this question. I have compiled gcc
- for two different platforms off of the same hard disk. The net result of this is that gcc
- stuff now absorbs 100MB+ of hard disk space. Thats 50% of what I've got; obviously I need
- to get rid of a substantial portion of the source and intermediate files. What I would
- like to know is what can I delete without effecting the performance of the compiler. I use
- both gcc and g++. I have been unable to find this info in the files that came with the
- distribution file. For example, can I remove the config and stage2 directories ? What files
- in the lib and root directory can be bagged ? (I already whacked the stage1 dir).
-
- I greatly appreciate any help or pointers people can send me. Please email response to me,
-
