  14. Do any of you know of a GCC port to the  IBM 3090 family 
  15. running AIX?

  17. We've been looking for such a beast for quite awhile.  I
  18. did find the mvs.* config files for the 370 architecture
  19. from a source overseas, and I do have Chuck Simmons v1.18
  20. Amdahl port.

  22. I moved the v1.18 port to the v1.40 level fairly successfully
  23. only to find that the assembly output of gcc is bad for the
  24. native C compiler we have.  /bin/as chokes on a test.s file
  25. that my gcc-1.40 creates.   The format of the test.s file is
  26. considerably different from the native cc -S output.

  28. So...  I'm hoping that someone out there in netland has 
  29. done this AIX port for the 3090 and can send me the necessary
  30. configuration files.
