- (1) Check if the new Ibid files have been copied to the
- relevant subdirectory. The template file, as well as
- CTL and SUB have new forms and names. (This makes it
- quite conveneient for both 3.1 and 4.0 to share the
- same subdirectory).
-
- (2) Do NOT load NB 4.0 high (don;t use the lh/loadhigh
- option.)
-
- (3) Run 'maintenance' to clean the DAT files once.
-
- I've experimented with 4 Ibid databases, one with over 3400
- bib items. It all ran smoothly in both NB 4.0 and NBlingua
- modes.
-
- Warning: if you call the DAT files in NBLINGUA, store them
- with the /x switch, otherwise you will get the accented
- characters expanded, and your 3.1 Ibid will have strange
- graphic signs instead of accented characters. (This is
- not catastrophic, however, because you can still store
- it with st/x once. You can also put the DAT extension into
- the exceptions list in NBCUSTOM.SET, and forget about the /x
- switch.)
