- Thank you Bill for the information on how to set the Typematic
- rate on NB4. The slowest value is "2" and the fastest is "30".
- Naturally, the program arrived set at 30. I've now set mine to
- "16" and that is about as fast as I can handle it.
-
- I thought I would detest the pull-down menus, but I must confess
- that I love them for resetting defaults! I may graduate to using
- them for other things such as file handling. I spent an hour and
- a half this afternoon doing lessons 1-4 of the Tutorial where
- everything is described in terms of menus rather than entries on
- the command line -- oops! -- the action line. The procedures are
- not that bad. Once one's neuro-motor reflexes became established,
- it might be just as fast as a command on the action line.
