  15. A quick clarification of Peter's good news about installing nb4 after putting
  16. c:/nb4 (I changed the direction of the slash to save certain vax systems some
  17. trouble). What he means, I assume, is that he put a path=c:/nb4;...., statement
  18. in his autoexec.bat file and then rebooted. That of course is not necessary
  19. (it is sufficient). Before installing, you can also create an c:/nb4
  20. subdirectory at the dos prompt using the mkdir command, then alter the path
  21. statement for the session by typing path=c:/nb4. Although it may not be
  22. necessary, for safety I suggest path=c:/nb4;c:/;c:/dos.... That way you can
  23. have access to the bat files in your root directory (including autoexec) and
  24. to dos commands without rebooting.
