- A quick clarification of Peter's good news about installing nb4 after putting
- c:/nb4 (I changed the direction of the slash to save certain vax systems some
- trouble). What he means, I assume, is that he put a path=c:/nb4;...., statement
- in his autoexec.bat file and then rebooted. That of course is not necessary
- (it is sufficient). Before installing, you can also create an c:/nb4
- subdirectory at the dos prompt using the mkdir command, then alter the path
- statement for the session by typing path=c:/nb4. Although it may not be
- necessary, for safety I suggest path=c:/nb4;c:/;c:/dos.... That way you can
- have access to the bat files in your root directory (including autoexec) and
- to dos commands without rebooting.
