  12. I do not need to  activaaaate my printer assignment every time I enter
  13. NB4//Lingua.  That all works fine.  I have been following the  Deskjet
  14. thread and do have something to offer:  I called NBI BEFORE I bought my
  15. HPIIIP and asked them what would be the best printer to use with Lingua.
  16. They told me any of the HP laserprinters  would  be best, so long as I
  17. bought at least 512K RAM.  They considered this the minimum required
  18. to accomodate the  downloaded fonts.  I can think of no reason  why a
  19. Deskjet with  128K should be able to  hold fonts which   require 512K
  20. in a Laserjet.

  22. I take it back.  If the fonts are bit mapped (as they are, I know, in
  23. my old Epson Fx286e) they would take up more RAM  in a laser printer
  24. than in an inkjet.  But still, I don't think the difference in  resolution
  25. is that great.  Gurus?????
