  24. We experimented with something called VTMS. Voice Text Messaging Sys.
  25. I think its an IBM product. We tried running it with our ROLM voice
  26. mail system and our Profs 2.2.3 on VM/XA and it was a lot more trouble
  27. than it was worth. Couldn't get it to work consistently and the service
  28. it provided was nothing we couldn't live without. What we really wanted
  29. was a more flexible system that would let a person be read their voice
  30. mail from Profs and vice versa. Lots of vapourware in that dept but
  31. I've not noticed anything on the horizon that justifies further
  32. investigation.
