- I posted about a program at U of Oregon which wasn't exactly right. The
- program is actually offered by the International Society for Technology
- in Education (ISTE) through the Oregon State system. The professors
- who offer the courses belong to a number of different universities in
- Oregon and Wisconsin (Gonzaga U,U of Oregon,U of Wisconsin,W. Or. St. U).
-
- It appears that all of the courses offered are Master's level courses.
- They are as follows:
- PageMaker for Educators
- Planning for Computers in Schools
- Telecommunications and Information Access
- Introduction to Logo for Educators
- Fundamentals of Computers in Education
- Computers in Composition
- Computers and Problem Solving
- Introduction to AppleWorks for Educators
- Effective Inservice for Instructional Use of Computers in Education
- Computers in Mathematics Education
- Introduction to Microsoft Works for Educators
- Software Sampler I
- Learning HyperCard and HyperTalk Programming
-
- The courses are $95.50 per quarter credit hour. If the class is taken
- non-credit, tuition decreases 40%. All assignments and communication is
- done via E-mail (although personal contact is possible).
-
- There is a lot more info in the catalog I have, but I won't waste
- bandwidth. For more info:
