  13. In response to Janet Sutherland.
  14.   There is a special Token-Ring card available which can be put into
  15. promiscuous mode permitting it to receive all network traffic.  Standard
  16. Token-Ring cards cannot do this.  This is necessary occasionally for
  17. network maintenance and debugging.  I suppose the card is available from
  18. IBM.
