- Just curious:
- How does RT-11 handle 'large' disks like RL02 (10MB)? Does it keep all
- the files (6+3 char. names) in one huge directory, or is it possible to
- partition disk to separate 'sub'-directories?
- (I have almost similar combination, but with RSX-11M & 2MB RAM instead.)
-
- And then what I was really asking:
-
- Is it possible to write-protect eight inch RX01 floppies? (single side,
- single density, 26 soft sectors, 128 bytes, 256 KB capacity if I remember
- right) By cutting hole somewhere, but where? The machine is PDT-11/150
- and OS is RT-11 V4.something. If write protection that way is not
- possible, would it be possible by putting some switch to write-enable
- (or whatever) wire in the drive itself?
-
- You can answer by mail, I will then tell the correct answer if there's
- any... Thanks.
