  10. Hello netlanders,

  12. I have a problem running an application from my HP Unix system on my VAXstation
  13. 3100 with Multinet 3.0 rev G.
  14. I have setup the security according to what the manuals tell me to do and 
  15. defined a display using the follwing command:

  18. $ set display/create/transport=tcpip
  19. $ show display
  20.  
  21.     Device:    WSA7:  [super]
  22.     Node:      0
  23.     Transport: TCPIP
  24.     Server:    0
  25.     Screen:    0

  27. Also on the unix machine I have setup the environment variable DISPLAY:

  29. # export DISPLAY=vs3100:0.0
  30.  
  31. When I run my application I get the following message:

  33. Xlib:  connection to "vs3100:0.0" refused by server
  34. Xlib:  Client is not authorized to acce
  35. ERROR open_xwindow: can't open display

  38. Has anyone got an idea to what is going wrong? Please help!
