  21. Ned, I took your suggestion.  I modified the PhoneNet account (PMDF_xx)
  22. temporarily, removing the DisReconnect flag, and then tried connecting
  23. to the process myself.  Attached is the resulting [Kermit] log file
  24. (edited only to remove the phone number and login name).  There doesn't
  25. seem to be anything waiting to be emitted by the disconnected slave
  26. process except for ``logged out'' msg.
  27.  
  28. The connection process is
  29.  (1) Dial into a tcp/ip terminal server, a Bridge (now 3com) cs/100.
  30.  (2) Connect to the VAX (called `red')
  31.  (3) Log in as PMDF_xx
  32.  
  33. Could it be something to do with the terminal-server-to-VAX interaction?
  34.  
  35. Any ideas?
