  23. For what it's worth, when I started at Clyde Digital back in '87, we
  24. spent some time trying to convince DEC to go along with something very
  25. similar to what you're talking about.  We could never get any support
  26. from DEC, even when we pointed out that they have layered products
  27. that can crash the system when used together in the right (wrong)
  28. combination.  Those products include SSU, DEC Test Manager, Terminal
  29. Fallback, and ACMS.
