  20. Just for historical interest, VMS (then called Starlet) DID run on a PDP-11 at
  21. first.  It was a specially microcoded PDP-11/45.  As soon as the VAX prototype 
  22. hardware was available they stopped using the 11/45 and switched over to the
  23. VAX prototype.  To the best of my knowledge this was the only PDP-11 that
  24. actually ran "VMS".
