- that is in use around here that makes detectors TOTALLY useless!

- This "thing" is call VASCAR. It involves the cop pushing a button
- on a timer when he sees you pass some point, and then push
- another button when you pass another point. It is a total sham!
- And yes I get a nice shiny ticket due to a cops less than
- spectacular reaction times! Also when the cop pulled me over
- he was not amused to see my (not useful this time) radar detector..
- I kind of think having the detector just ensured I got a ticket
- rather than a warning. Haven't used the $250 wondor of technology
- since.
