  15. this evening i decided to go on a ride up one of the swell canyons here in salt
  16. lick city. big deal, you say to yourself, but it was. on my way up i passed a
  17. presumably dead squirrel. it looked just like it had falled asleep on the side
  18. of the road. for a moment i thought about moving off into the bushes. then i
  19. thought that if i picked it up it would jump at me. i thought it might be
  20. pretending to be dead and just waiting to trick a fool like me. i think i am
  21. getting a bit paranoid lately. oh well.
