  11.   The clouds were sliding and twisting rapidly across the sky as 
  12. the winds picked up.  They looked very like the time-lapse cloud
  13. photography which fantasy film-makers use to stretch their cheesy
  14. special-effects budgets.

  16.   I would have liked to posture aesthetically by saying I abhor
  17. tacky cliched effects.  But the truth is I adore them -- and I like
  18. the even better when I know they are 100% natural.
