  42. Look it up for yourself, Peter.  The word 'Jews" doesn't even appear
  43. in that article.  The actual quote, from Barbara Ehrenreich, whose
  44. nationality and religion were not disclosed in the _Times_ article:

  47. cross in our city. This is also the city of the Star of David and the Crescent
  48. of Islam, and we like it that way."

  50. To his credit, I believe Chaney did issue an apology of sorts
  51. after being caught in an obvious misquote.  The woman in question 
  52. was addressing a group of pro-choicers, and speaking as if to the
  53. pro-life demonstrators, who were marching a few blocks away.
