  32. The point is not that there is anything wrong with continuing a
  33. pregnancy to term.  It's just that a woman ought to be able to
  34. decide for herself how much risk she wishes to endure.

  36. As for Post Abortive Stress Syndrome, there's something similar
  37. that follows childbirth.  I also question your claims about
  38. Post Abortive Stress Syndrome since this is the first I've heard
  39. of it being at all widespread.  In fact, your claim contradicts
  40. the information that has been posted here in the past, as well
  41. as former Surgeon General Charles Everett Koop's conclusions.
  42. Just to re-iterate what has been said here many times, Koop,
  43. whose personal views are pro-life, was pressed by the Reagan
  44. administration to conclude that PASS was common and severe.  He
  45. found no evidence to support that conclusion and said so.
