  19. should be valued equally.  Unfortunately, that is not true in most societies.

  25. Absolutely.  I will not require a woman to give a reason to abort.  It is
  26. *her* decision and *hers* alone and I would not second guess it as long as
  27. the decision is made prior to the third trimester.

  32. Particularly in India -- with good reason.  Parents of girls have to provide
  33. a dowry to get her married, and some women are *KILLED* for their dowries.

  35. I find this MUCH more distasteful than abortion, and can understand why some
  36. Indian families may wish to avoid having a female child.
