  17. nurtured Napoleon, Metternich, the wonderful people who brought us
  18. South Africa, not to mention slavery, and George Armstrong Custer
  19. et al.  The divine right of kings is a long-standing tradition
  20. (Hobbes, Plato).  Let's not pat ourselves on the back, please.

  23. did you even bother making it?  It's plain old xenophobia, or worse
  24. yet, Yellow Peril-ism.  It seems like all your posts are cheap shots
