  12. Having examined Einstein's original letter in the Smithsonian, I was
  13. amazed to see that such an historically monumental letter consisted of
  14. only one, or at the most 2 sentences.  It said only that he thought
  15. that work toward developing an atomic bomb was likely to be fruitful,
  16. and was signed A. Einstein.  Kind of like Reagan's one sentence memo
  17. (executive order) giving the cia the right to conduct covert
  18. operations inside the states and properties of the United States.
