- I'm looking for a copy of algorithm 702 from the March 1992 issue of
- Transactions on Math Software to save a few pennies. Normally I order
- these things very promptly and put them on our server ftp.cso.uiuc.edu,
- whose TOMS collection is consequently much more up to date than the
- netlib's at Oak Ridge or AT&T. However, I missed 702 because of a snafu,
- and am wondering if some kind person would make it accessible before I
- have to put in a $100 order.
-
- By the way, I'm aware that the truncated Newton method implemented in
- algorithm 702 is available from netlib as TN, but for my own fussy
- reasons I would like to have the exact version as distributed through
- TOMS.
