  13. I once heard a quote that I really enjoyed, but have since lost it.  It  
  14. was (if I remember correctly, which I may not) was from a review of a  
  15. writing on analytic geometry from several hundred years ago, which  
  16. referred to the subject as something like "a scabrous collection of  
  17. symbols".  If anyone out there can either
  18.

  20.     1.  Tell me that I'm making it all up :-)
