  13. I vaguely recall from a math course that there was a paper published
  14. by three soviet mathematicians, the third of which having signed the
  15. paper only to make the three mathematicians' names sound like ``alpha,
  16. beta, gamma''.  The third mathematician's name was Gamow.  Does
  17. anybody know the names of the other two?
