- Unforunately some good jokes never make it past the editors: One of
- the first papers on a practical use of the ideas in Baker's method for
- solving Diophantine equations was a paper in the journal of Number
- Theory by Don Lewis, and a whole bunch of others. I was told (on good
- authority), that this paper was first submitted under the author name
- of "Ann Arbor, University of Michigan". The editor was not amused,
- and insisted that the correct names be put on the paper.
