- Apologies in advance if this message sounds totally naive, but I am
- not a mathemtician. Does anyone know anything about a technique
- known as wombling? It is something to do with combining lots of
- complex variables to obtain a single result, and was named after a
- mathematician known as Womble.

- Email replies to rpl@dsg.npl.co.uk would be appreciated.
