- The British Consumers Association recently released a report
- about just this sort of thing. The report concluded that
- not only were disposables bad for the environment, but they
- actually cost more than other methods tested/costed.

- It was found that even using a nappy-valet service, where
- someone calls round every other day and collects/launders/returns
- nappies (diapers) was cheaper than using disposables.

- Of course, using cloth nappies and washing them yourself (like our
- mothers had to!) is the cheapest way, but who wants to do that!
