- If you change the control costs in the classical Linear Quadratic
- tracking problem from a quadratic form, say u^2, to a term of the
- form |u|, does anyone know what to do next?
-
- Note that the Tracking error is still quadratic, so it is not obvious
- that L_1 control helps.
-
- I have the idea that this kind of problem may have been called "minimum
- fuel" at some point, but I don't really know.
-
- Thanks in Advance,
