  10. If you change the control costs in the classical Linear Quadratic
  11. tracking problem from a quadratic form, say u^2, to a term of the
  12. form |u|, does anyone know what to do next?

  14. Note that the Tracking error is still quadratic, so it is not obvious
  15. that L_1 control helps.

  17. I have the idea that this kind of problem may have been called "minimum
  18. fuel" at some point, but I don't really know.
