  15. I have a question about the yield strength of aluminum.
  16. I have a stress-strain diagram of a tensile test.
  17. The question is "How to determine the yield strength of the alumium base on that
  18. diagram"
  19. For high strength steel we take .2% offset strain or .5% strain extension under
  20. load.
  21. Is this applicable to aluminum ?
  22. Please also give me the sources about this matter.
