  15. I picked up eight SIMMs at a Ham Fest a while back and I just
  16. got around to trying to figure out what I might be able to do
  17. with them.  Each SIMM was packaged in it's own static bag and 
  18. they were all boxed in a larger cardboard container with a
  19. few odd numbers some of which contained the numbers:

  23. This was what actually intrigued me into buying them for the ridiculous
  24. price of $5.00!  Now I need some help with identifying just what I have.

  26. Each SIMM has 9 chips.  Each chip has 20 SMT (surface mount) "legs".
  27. Each SIMM has 30 "pads" on the front and 30 pads on the back for a
  28. total of 60 edge contacts (pads).  Each chip has the following stuff
  29. printed on it:

  31.   JAPAN A002
  32.   9019 5NNK
  33.   HM511000AJP10
  34.  
  35. On the back of the SIMM there are no components, but there is a
  36. set of numbers:  HB56A19B-10A
  37.                   9023 XQ

  39. Each SIMM is 3.5 inches X .75 inches.  There is a small hole through
  40. the PCB on each end (I assume for mounting clips).

  42. If anyone recognizes this, please send me more information.  I am 
  43. curious to know the capacity of the SIMM, possible hardware which
  44. might make use of it and current market value.  Thanks and you
