- I picked up eight SIMMs at a Ham Fest a while back and I just
- got around to trying to figure out what I might be able to do
- with them. Each SIMM was packaged in it's own static bag and
- they were all boxed in a larger cardboard container with a
- few odd numbers some of which contained the numbers:
-
- "32MB upgrade"
-
- This was what actually intrigued me into buying them for the ridiculous
- price of $5.00! Now I need some help with identifying just what I have.
-
- Each SIMM has 9 chips. Each chip has 20 SMT (surface mount) "legs".
- Each SIMM has 30 "pads" on the front and 30 pads on the back for a
- total of 60 edge contacts (pads). Each chip has the following stuff
- printed on it:
-
- JAPAN A002
- 9019 5NNK
- HM511000AJP10
-
- On the back of the SIMM there are no components, but there is a
- set of numbers: HB56A19B-10A
- 9023 XQ
-
- Each SIMM is 3.5 inches X .75 inches. There is a small hole through
- the PCB on each end (I assume for mounting clips).
-
- If anyone recognizes this, please send me more information. I am
- curious to know the capacity of the SIMM, possible hardware which
- might make use of it and current market value. Thanks and you
- may post or E-mail back to me.

- I admit that back in my college days, I wrote FORTRAN; but I didn't compile!
