- Is there a minimum propogation delay for the HC04? All the specs I have
- mention 10ns typical and 18ns maximum (at 4.5 volts Vcc), but is there
- a minimum delay time? I need 20ns of delay in a line, and want to
- make sure it's going to take at least that amount of time... Should
- I use a couple of HC04s? Four of them? Will four guarantee 20ns delay?
-
- In another line I need 10ns delay, but it passes through an HC273 edge
- triggered flipflop which has a typical propogation delay of 17ns. Can
- I just assume that the output of the HC273 flipflop will be stable for
- at least 10ns before switching over to a new value?
-
- Dazed and confused about propogation delays and life in general,
