- Test/burnin sockets for most surface mount packages are available from
- Yamaichi Electronics, Inc. (408) 452-0797, fax (408) 452-0799. Expect to
- pay big bucks.
-
- I don't have the mech. specs for the TMP68303, so I don't know which socket you
- would need. The 100 pin QFP sockets listed in the catalog are:
-
- Yamaichi lead contact package
- part number pitch position outline
- ------------- ----- -------------- -----------
- IC51-1004-395 0.65 17.0 x 24.0 14.6 x 20.6
- IC51-1004-814 0.65 "3 type" (???)
- IC51-1004-958 0.5 15.0 x 15.0 14.0 x 14.0
-
- IC51-1004-809 0.5 IC package 16.0 x 16.0 x 1.4
-
- IC51-1004-827 0.635 21.0 x 22.4 (JEDEC 25 mil bumper)
-
- If you don't want to spend big bucks on a socket, you might want to etch
- your own adapter PCB, with headers (.1 inch spacing) on the sides, and solder
- the TMP68303 to it.
-
- Good luck!
