- The difference in the "way people wish to be treated" is taken into account
- in the viewpoint translation. For example, a hetero may imagine himself being
- gay, and imagine that that would entail wishing to be "cured", and therefore try
- to "cure" them. I would claim that he has imperfectly performed the
- viewpoint translation, since many gays don't see themselves as sick.
- I don't buy your objection.
