  27. The difference in the "way people wish to be treated" is taken into account
  28. in the viewpoint translation. For example, a hetero may imagine himself being
  29. gay, and imagine that that would entail wishing to be "cured", and therefore try
  30. to "cure" them. I would claim that he has imperfectly performed the
  31. viewpoint translation, since many gays don't see themselves as sick.
