  11. Well, I sure hope  someone  else has had this  happen  and can give me some
  12. insight into the future.

  14. Minor background:
  15.   I'm a triathlete and ultra-runner.  I've done Ironman and several
  16.   ultras (longest is 50 miles).

  18.   Last  Saturday I did a 160 mile bike ride in the  mountains  and finished
  19.   feeling pretty good.

  21.   I took Sunday off.

  24. Today (Monday).

  26.   Temp was around 80 as I head out for an easy (7:30s) 4 mile run.  My legs
  27.   & energy  level are better than I might have  expected.  I finish the run
  28.   feeling good.

  30.   About 100 yds after finishing I get this weird urge to pee.  I get inside
  31.   and hit the first bathroom before I might  "embarass"  myself.  All I get
  32.   is dark red blood and, it seems, not much urine.

  34.   Yikes!  I have no pain anywhere else, I'm not dizzy . . .

  36.   I take a very quick shower and call the doc.

  38.   After  talking to the doc for just a few  minutes  he tells me that he is
  39.   99% sure I have  'tri-skfjskjfskfjklsf'.  I don't remember the exact word
  40.   but he explained it as:

  42.   Sometimes  when your  bladder is really  empty and you do something  that
  43.   jostles it alot it can partially  collapse and rub on itself.  Just drink
  44.   alot of water and it should clear in a few hours.

  46.   Well,  after  feeling  like I had to pee every 15 minutes  for 2 hours my
  47.   urine did finally clear.

  49. So, HAS THIS EVER  HAPPENED  TO ANYONE  ELSE?  Assuming  that I don't  have
  50. another problem (cancer etc.)  what can I expect the next time I run?
