- Obviously, in all the follow-ups things got confused, I have ridden
- both The Vortex and the Iron Wolf (at their respective Great America's).
-
- I thought the I.W. was fine, but I thought the Vortex was WONDERFUL!!

- I am not the only person on this list who doesn't care much for
- Arrows coasters.
-
- Obviously, my mileage *has* varied significantly since I thought
- the Carolina Cyclone was pitiful.
-
- Still, maybe I am being unfair. The only other looping coaster I
- had ever ridden (up to that point) was The Mindbender at SFoGeorgia.
- It usually ranks in most people's "Top Ten (Steel)" lists.
- Maybe they are just too different to compare...
-
-
- Personally, I put Batman The Ride in a separate list to keep it
- from subverting all my other favorite non-wooden coasters.
