- That's precisely the reason I put "idiot-proof" in the above. Given some of the people
- that operate RC equipment (ground, sea and land), letting them set their own code thru
- the use of multiple DIP switches is just asking for trouble...

- A possible alternative would be plug-in patches with fixed codes, that way each code
- could be identified and changed in a similar manner to crystals. Also, each patch would
- just be an arrangement of links between pins, so they would be much cheaper than crystals.
