- My 2.8l V6 that exhibits this is a carburated engine. But I'd expect that
- the fuel mixture program is similar & has the same sensors.

- However, I've noticed the eratic behaviour translate to an eratic
- accelerator pedal when on cruise control at a constant speed.

- Since cruise is tied to manifold vacuum (I thought) it would seem
- to point to a manifold pressure/vacuum sensor problem.

- This might also cause/link to improper spark advance (EST/bypass circuit)
- causing the 'check engine' to light.

- management firmware/sensors is the reliability problem.
