- It's also worth mentioning that in many places (where I am, for instance)
- if an ambulance is called they also dispatch fire and/or rescue units.
- This is often done because a fire station may be closer to you than an
- ambulance is. In my experience the fire units arrive before the
- ambulance, and I doubt if the firemen have much trouble opening the door.
